Old Tape Cassette Recording of Classical Guitar.wav
This is an early recording from the mid 1990's I made of myself playing Guardame Las Vacas, an early piece of music from the 16th century, which translates as "Guarding the Cows".
It was originally recorded onto cassette tape - a Teac CDX60 and I rediscovered it whilst going through all my old cassette tapes, inspired by the latest Freesound Dare project to utilise old tape recordings. It has been played back through a 1980's vintage Walkman Cassette Player with the output going through a Focusrite Saffire and re-recorded using no effects or noise reduction into 24bit digital.
It appeals to my sense of irony to use this which is an old antique piece of music on an old and now antiquated medium!
