Description
AS the sun sets on the East coast of the United States, across the world is is rising in Australia. During the times of transition in both places, private radio stations attempt to communicate with one another during the peak in propagation afforded by the dawn/dusk line constantly rotating around the earth called "The Terminator". This clip contains extended conversations between American and Australian radio operators well-known to one another, bantering about and asking each other to compare the strength of their signals to their countrymen. After that, the clip opens up to a cacophony of European and Slavic-accented voices of Europe and former Soviet republics scrambling over one another to be the next private station to communicate with the American on the East coast of the USA. These sounds can be used for disaster movies and media assets where soundscapes require background static and panicked voices appear en masse, as well as for soundscapes requiring clear radio-electronic voice communications in the background. Recorded on February 23, 2019 in the afternoon on the East coast of the US.
