In the beginning of May each year those swifts come back to Europe, only to go back at the beginning of August to Afrika. And, when uploading this sound, they were already gone, which is such a shame. Now, until May, I think: next time, I manage to record them just fine. In the end it might be a track like this one: Microphones, them Clippo omni ones with the XLR cable, into an SD MixPre preamp and all that into a PCM M10. Next year I try to do it better!
