Description
Jackhammer in the street. I made this recording from my balcony, located in a suburb of Paris, France. Here, you can hear men using a shovel or a pickaxe, and a jackhammer to drill into concrete, about 20 meters away. From time to time, you can hear their voices, some cars passing by in the street, and an alarm (starting at 1’31’’). At the end of the recording, the workers stop their engine and throw some broken pieces of concrete, stones, and other things in a nearby container. Recorded in April 2021 with an Olympus LS-P4 and a Rode Stereo videomic X (SVMX). Fade in/out applied in Audacity.
