It sounds like a big metal pole in the mid and low registers - so I call it Polster. Loaded into a sampler, you can play around with the amplifier envelope and make it really short and percussive - or you can fade in the volume and make it a eerie, ethereal woodwind sound. Polster has an eerie, ethereal watery sound that blends well with waterphones. A big thank you to ehproductions for such brilliant and inspirational source material.
