What is this?: Simply put, fast, aggressive, and sometimes-chaotic drum patterns. These could be used in full or cut up and rearranged, whatever suits your purposes. I draw a lot of inspiration from grindcore, hardcore punk, metal, chaotic hardcore, mathcore, and progressive left-field weirdness in general. Some tracks don’t use standard duplets (i.e. divisions based on powers of two which is most common – think, whole notes, half notes, quarter notes, eighth notes, sixteenth notes, thirty second notes, and onward.). The tracks which use quintuplets (notes which are divided into 5s) are tagged with that information. Generally these are the samples numbered 102-125. What was used to make this?: FL Studio 21 is my DAW (digital audio workstation) of choice. I used the virtual instrument FPC which is a drum emulator that has drum samples which are triggered during playback. I used the HQ Metal drum set for this sample pack. - - - As always, these are free to use at your discretion and I hope you are able to find interesting and fun uses for them.
