Rhythmic_Tomfoolery_-033.wav
What is this?
A collection of clock generators inputting signals into two percussion synthesizers with two oscillators which are mapped onto the percussion synthesizers in convoluted ways.
In less jargony language, there are some click-like signals that are based on a certain beat per minute (I often used 120 BPM, 144 BPM, 108 BPM, 90 BPM, and 84 BPM). These time-keeping signals were manipulated further using multiples of these speeds – i.e. 2x faster, 2.5x slower, 1.5 times faster, and so on. Other fine tuned changes were made based on some more specific concepts related to the way the time-keeping signal (clock generator) functions.
Ugh, I’m doing a terrible job here simplifying… hmm…
Ok, let’s do this again.
Time keeping singal & sound wave generators (oscillators) > percussion synthesizers = the sound you’re hearing.
Oof that was long and awkward.
