Subtle warble and noise from a collared dove building her nest. (mp3 version)
I made this recording during a spring afternoon, on a 4th floor balcony located in Nice city (south-east of France) while a dove was putting the finishing touch to her nest. The microphones were clipped on the side wall of the balcony, about 20cm under the nest.
At the beginning of this long recording, one can hear the flapping wings of the dove coming to her nest, then she arranges it conscientiously during about 30 minutes, making some subtle noise and soft warbles. Then, finally, she decides to fly away. In the background, street ambience (some vehicles passing by, some birds and voices), airplanes flying over, light hum from the city and white noise from a fountain.
Please note that this file is a MP3 version of the higher resolution (24 bits 48 kHz) recording available here : https://freesound.org/people/kevp888/sounds/686857/
