Material Used: Sample 1: <a href="https://freesound.org/people/klankbeeld/sounds/695374/" rel="nofollow">https://freesound.org/people/klankbeeld/sounds/695374/</a> Sample 2: <a href="https://freesound.org/people/klankbeeld/sounds/693918/" rel="nofollow">https://freesound.org/people/klankbeeld/sounds/693918/</a> Original Sampler: <a href="https://freesound.org/people/klankbeeld/" rel="nofollow">https://freesound.org/people/klankbeeld/</a> FL Studio was used as the DAW (digital audio workstation) Slicex VST (virtual instrument) was used to cut up the audio provided by Klankbeeld. Maximus was the compressor I used in the effects channel, using the NY Compression preset. Once the material was cut up, I cloned each sample and had one version of each sample going through compression, and one going directly out in hopes to achieve different variety of sounds. The end result of some of it is noisier than others, I think the metal railing noises made for some nice industrial tones. I think these could be used for some good industrial/musique concrète/noise pieces. As always, use as you wish but be sure to: 1.
