Wedmore is notable for the Treaty of Wedmore in 878 between King Alfred of Wessex and the Viking king Guthrum after the defeat of the latter at the Battle of Edington. This is why we speak English not Danish in the UK ;)
This is a binaural recording on a still day, I didn't filter the low frequencies, the sonority of these big old bells is too good to lose, downside is you do hear some very distant plane noise and traffic rumble after the bells have faded away.
