In front the fields and the Moerputten-swamp. To the left is the far highway, the city and a footpath over an old railway embankment.
The old railway track is called “the half sole line” (NL; halvezolenlijntje), because shoes used to be made along this track and because there were 39 stops on a 43 km long track and because all bridges were made for double track lines and only one track had been built. ‘Half a sole’ (halve zool) was someone who was foolish. So the construction of the track was foolish.
