Early in the morning, we are surprised by a very strong thunderstorm that develops and expresses itself violently above our heads with lightning, thunder, strong gusts of wind and pouring rain. The recording took place from the balcony of our room, on the first floor of a small building overlooking Piazza Luigi Salvatore D'Austria, in the town of Lipari on the island of the same name. The chirping of birds can be heard. Roosters greeting the dawn in the distance. Thunder and thunder claps. In the background the dull, continuous sound of an air-conditioner engine running. Some other sounds from early morning human activities (passing of an electric scooter, sounds of an electromechanical apparatus operated in the distance, perhaps a shop shutter, etc.) Some sounds produced by the handling of the microphone during recording.
