Burdocia dawn
Soundscape recorded in the early hours of the morning, from the window of a room on the first floor of a house in the Ferrara countryside, surrounded by a large green park.
The recording was made using a ZOOM H1n handheld recorder with a windscreen.
Many biophonic sounds can be heard:
<ul>
<li>pheasants;</li>
<li>doves;</li>
<li>fluttering and flapping sounds;</li>
<li>cuckoos;</li>
<li>crickets;</li>
<li>frogs;</li>
<li>crows and magpies</li>
</ul>
Other anthropophonic sounds are:
<ul>
<li>sounds of farm machinery in the background in the distance (mostly, I think, water pump engines extracting water from canals/ditches for irrigating fields);</li>
<li>a sound of a distant plane passing by over our heads;</li>
</ul>
Processing:
<ul>
<li>Low pass filter;</li>
<li>gentle denoising (ReaFIR);</li>
<li>volume boost</li>
</ul>
