Waves on a beach (Howth Head, Hidden Cove) recorded using an Ambient ASF-1 MK2 hydrophone. The hydrophone was pushed into the pebbles and the waves were allowed to crash and lap over it, so part of its functioning here is as a contact microphone. A very high sampling rate is retained as significant ultrasonic frequencies have been captured.
