Walking in the streets and taking Metro in Paris (binaural, please use headset for 3D effects). At the beginning of the file, I’m waiting to cross a street in Paris (France), on the way to the nearby Métro station named Cambronne (outdoor station on the Line 6). One can hear vehicles, horns, people walking and talking, and other noises from the town. At about 2’10’’, I’ll arrive near the train-station, pass through the gate, and use the stairs to go to the platform while a warning announcement is broadcasted. At 3’35’’, a train on the opposite way will arrive, stop, open its doors, close it, and go. Then, the train I’m waiting will arrive at 4’20’’, and I’ll come in. During the travel, one can hear people’s voices (adults talking and kids playing), buzzer, doors opening and closing, etc... Please note that the three first station are outdoor, and the 5 last are underground. Finally, at about 14’00’’, I’ll exit from the train in Charles De Gaulle Etoile, and take the escalator to interchange. Recorded in February 2023 with an Olympus LS-P4 and Immersive Soundscapes EarSight Binaural microphones. Fade in/out and high pass filter at 60Hz -6dB/oct applied in Audacity. (If you want to use this sound as a mono audio file, you may have to delete one channel to avoid phase issues).
