Tropical carnival parade in Paris, France. I made this recording from the side of a street, during the tropical carnival Parade held every year in Paris (France). One can hear people from different tropical countries (essentially Brazil, Caribbean, and African countries) dancing and singing with carnival masks and attires, while drummers and musician are playing festive beats and music. In the background, walla from the people watching, and applause from time to time. Recorded in January 2023 with an Olympus LS-P4 and a Rode Stereo videomic X (SVMX). Fade in/out applied in Audacity. (Please note that the dynamic range of this file is quite wide, so you’ll probably have to compress the audio if you’d like to use it in your project.)
