On the night of the 23rd Oct 2016, around 10pm, an helicopter was hovering close to our house. Then, at some point there were a total of 4 helicopters. 2 of them were definitely police helicopters. Recorded from my back garden with a Zoom H1. Unfortunately one of the recorder channels does not work anymore, so I had to discard it and convert the file to mono in Audacity. There is some wind noise. I did a low cut filter in Audacity for ~60Hz, but some wind noise is still present in certain parts. The helicopters left around 18min into the recording. I retained a few more minutes of audio to give the idea of the normal background noise. I live close to a major airport, so 2 airliner jets fly past towards the end of the recording after min 18. That is quite normal where I live.
